Hilma af Klint Playing Cards
$26
Quantity
Celebrate the visionary work of Hilma af Klint with this artful deck of playing cards, featuring the vibrant, abstract compositions of an artist who was far ahead of her time. Guided by spiritualism and a desire to unite art, science, and religion, af Klint created groundbreaking works decades before abstraction entered the mainstream. Believing the world was not yet ready for her paintings, she asked that they remain unseen until 20 years after her death. Today, her visionary work continues to inspire.
Finished with a smooth linen texture and playing card varnish, each deck includes 52 playing cards, two jokers, and two additional cards featuring artwork and an artist biography.
